Job Description
Job Title: Youth Program Therapist (LCSW LCSWA or Obtaining)
Credentials: Full licensure or provisional licensure accepted
Schedule: MondayFriday Full Time 40/hrs week
Location: Hybrid: Wilmington NC Office/Virtual

Job Posting:
Provides short and long term specialized clinical services to Open House Youth Service (OHYS) Programs for Runaway/Homeless Youth and Young adults primarily in New Hanover County but could provide services in Brunswick/Pender County with the use of virtual technology. Conduct Comprehensive Clinical Assessments and treat symptoms of trauma utilizing evidencebased treatment modalities such as CBT TFCBT MI and CPT. Develop and conduct specialized therapy groups for OHYS clients. Oversee the development and implementation of support groups. Develop and present outreach programs and brochures specific to OHYS and clinical services. Provide training to staff and volunteers related to mental health. Provide crisis advocacy and education individual crisis counseling referrals and other services (groups outreach etc. to community members primarily and/or adults who have experienced homelessness. Provide oncall afterhours crisis services if needed for OHYS clients.
Required Educational/Experiential Qualifications:
- Preference given to Masters Degree from an accredited college with a licensed Clinical Social Work (LCSW) or Obtaining an LCSW LCSWA
OR
- Equivalent combination of education and experience with a Bachelors degree in social work psychology or human services field with 2 years work experience
