We are looking for a highly organized energetic individual to fill an immediate opening for a fulltimeHeavy Equipment Technician.Experience with crushing and screening equipment is preferred but consideration will be extended to candidates with previous experience servicing diesel hydraulic and/or farm equipment.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Inspect equipment upon initial delivery for defects
- Inspect & Diagnose faults or malfunctions
- Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts components or systems using hand or power tools.
- Test repaired equipment for the proper performance
- Clean lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment
- Completes all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments.
- Accounts for all time and material used in performing assigned duties.
- Maintains condition of mobile service vehicle inventory tools and equipment.
- Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments.
- Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment.
- Additional duties as required.
- Domestic travel mandatory
Experience Education Skills and Knowledge:
- 2 years of experience performing service repairs.
- Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Ability to operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes.
- Ability to use basic computer functions and the MSOffice Suite of products.
- Ability to lift 75 lbs. repeatedly.
- Valid drivers license with clean Drivers Abstract.
- Ability to work alone or as a member of a team with other tradespersons.
- The capability of working outside in all types of weather for onsite customer service and inside a shop.
- A strong work ethic reliability and dependability are key requirements for this position.
