Work Schedule: 1020 hours per week flexible working hours

Desired Length of Employment: Spring 2025 / ongoing

Pay Rate: $10.50 $11.50 per hour

Job Description:

Media Content Creator Videographer looking for a candidate experienced in photography & videography to help create content for our social media channels. Can include:
capturing photos at Mission Waco Programs & special events highlight videos program videos
interviews tutorials etc. 10 hours a week at most flexible if you need less hours. DSLR Camera and
knowledge of Adobe Premier required.

FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION Serve alongside the Social Media Coordinator to take photos and create videos for social media channels to promote Mission Waco. Can include going to a multitude of programs and creating content for several different facets of Mission Waco.

REQUIRED SKILLS Hard Skills: Ability to make videos with a DSLR or 4K camera and proficiency in editing with Adobe Premier. Social Media knowledge preferred. Soft Skills: Flexible attitude gets along well with others and a servant heart.

LEARNING OUTCOMES: Improve knowledge of marketing and social media in the Non Profit sector. Learn multitasking projects between a variety of programs. Improve technical skills of photography and videography and expand horizons of living in the Waco community.

All applicants must be Federal Work Study (FWS) Eligible.

  • Provide support and assistance in a respective area of community service
  • Assist with various projects activities or tasks related to community service
  • Provide excellent customer service to constituents
  • Utilize available resources to perform duties accordingly
  • Serve to enhance outreach for the greater Waco community
  • Must be federal work study eligible
  • Ability to comply with University policies
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance
