Job Description
This shop assembles and fabricates parts from scratch based on concepts created in AutoCad. From metal canopies conveyors maintenance platforms with handrails ductwork to intricately detailed gears and other parts.
Duties
- Running and supervising a custom metal fabrication/welding shop floor
- Manage a team of workers including work schedules project progress and resource allocation
- Develop new ideas and ways to implement projects that focus on continuous improvement
Requirements
- 5 years of experience running and supervising a metal fabrication/welding shop floor
- Have a strong understanding of welding and how to manage it as a resource
- Must have an eye for detail and carry out regularly scheduled quality control checks
Details
- $70k $90k a year
- Benefits (health insurance 401k retirement plan and paid vacations/holidays)
- Monday Friday 7am3:30pm (Overtime required when necessary)
