Sr Business Intel Engineer NA Sales Marketing

The Amazon Cross Devices Marketing team is seeking an experienced Sr. Business Intel Engineer with broad technical skills to develop indepth business understanding perform deepdives develop data visualizations and build automation solutions that drive business decision making and process improvement. The ideal candidate will draw upon advanced analytical problem solving skills and passion for delivering business insights and analytics. Key job responsibilities
This role will be responsible for providing regular analysis and insight to marketing channel and Devices product line leaders. This role will be expected to proactively identify trends and facilitate analysis to identify issues and that impact Devices and Amazon wide traffic. The ideal candidate will have an extensive background in running SQL queries performing deepdives and generating actionable insights.

This is critical role for the organization and requires an individual with effective communication skills business acumen and the ability to work across various functional teams and internal partner teams. We are looking for individuals who are selfstarters comfortable with ambiguity demonstrate strong attention to detail and have the ability to work in a fastpaced and everchanging environment.

Bachelors degree
5 years experience writing SQL queries and creating business intelligence reports
Proven expertise in Tableau and Power BI
Experience designing selfservice reporting solutions and automating data processes
Track record of developing and monitoring KPIs to drive business decisions
Strong analytical skills with ability to translate data into actionable insights
Demonstrated organizational and prioritization abilities
Excellent communication skills for presenting to senior leadership
Ability to navigate ambiguity in a fastpaced environment

Masters degree in finance accounting business economics engineering analytics mathematics statistics or a related technical or quantitative field
Fluency in a modeling language such as Python or R
Strong background in statistics methodology applications to business problems and/or big data

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $117300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $202800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
