Cantina founded by Sean Parker is a new social platform with the most advanced AI character creator. Build share and interact with AI bots and your friends directly in the Cantina or across the internet.
Cantina bots are lifelike social creatures capable of interacting wherever humans go on the internet. A bit about the role:
As a Senior iOS Engineer at Cantina you will be partnering with Product Managers Designers and Sean Parker to redefine the boundaries of social interaction through innovative iOS development. Your primary focus will be to design and implement cuttingedge features that enhance the performance quality and creativity of our flagship app catering to both human users and AIpowered bots.

Lead development of new features

Work with our crossfunctional partners including Product Design and QA teams
Participate in Architecture meetings to help ensure our apps meet the highest quality standards
Ownershipbe part of a small team that ships an application to a large user base
A bit about you:
8 years of experience developing iOS applications or equivalent education.
Ability to write code that is readable maintainable documented and thoroughly tested.
Fluency in Swift SwiftUI and ObjectiveC.
Experience developing integrations with RESTful APIs.
Experience with Git.
Basic understanding of Figma can determine spacing and sizing. Bonus: you can export icons and understand how variables work.
Ability to effectively translate Product UX and UI requirements into code implementation.
Able to evaluate and communicate engineering solutions and tradeoffs to teammates and other potentially nontechnical teams
Can create scalable and reusable components that are flexible and can be changed without affecting unrelated views
Attention to detail space and animation
Location:
We have offices located in Sunnyvale CA San Francisco CA and Brooklyn NY. While we have a strong focus on individuals near our office hubs we prefer remote and hybrid employment opportunities in the Pacific Time Zone (PST).
Pay Equity:
In compliance with Pay Transparency Laws the base salary range for this role is between $180000$225000 for those located in the San Francisco Bay Area New York City and Seattle WA. When determining compensation a number of factors will be considered including skills experience job scope location and competitive compensation market data.
