Core Responsibilities and Tasks:
Xylem is looking for a Senior Field Service Technician to report to our Shakopee MN branch and service our equipment at customer sites in the surrounding area.
What your day will look like as a Senior Field Service Technician
The Senior Field Service Technician will be responsible for the installation service and maintenance of our water purification equipment utilizing a company service vehicle within our Light Industries Division. Equipment specific training will be provided. Willing to train the right person but previous technical/mechanical/plumbing experience is especially encouraged.
This position has general day shift hours with overtime opportunities and a compensated oncall rotation with occasional afternoons/weekends.
Position Requirements:
1. FORMAL EDUCATION:
Required:
HS diploma or equivalent
2. KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
25 years technical experience including industrial or commercial process water experience
Experience with Microsoft office including the ability to utilize smart devices
Ability to work in a high customer facing position
Ability to identify and remedy potential safety concerns
Ability to pass a background check drug screen MVR and DOT physical
A valid drivers license with a clean driving record
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: 50 or more daily travel
