Job Description
Astrid Wild is looking for a Senior Apparel Designer (Freelance Consultant) who can assist the product team in developing new products and elevate our existing collection of products from a functional design and fit perspective.
Astrid Wild is a Nordic outdoor brand designing outdoor wear for female shapes launched in late 2019. The permanent collection now consists of about 25 products and about 2 new products are introduced yearly. The products are loved by customers with nearly 4000 reviews and the average rating is 48 out of 5.
Were immensely proud of our inclusive and femalecentric approach and were looking for someone who has a big interest in creating for the female body as well as a passion for the outdoors.
What you will do:
- Create designs for new products based on community input mood boards and briefs
- Create sketches for tech packs and update those when needed
- Evaluate feedback from customers and create improvement suggestions
- Provide feedback on prototypes from the pattern maker and samples from factories
- Join fitting and product revisions meetings with our pattern maker in Stockholm
- Support Astrid Wilds design and creative direction
