Job Description

Director Business Development
Are you a resultsdriven sales professional with a passion for digital marketing Gen3 Marketing is looking for a Business Development Director to drive new business growth and upsells. This role is primarily focused on acquiring new clients with a smaller portion dedicated to expanding existing accounts selling solutions across Affiliate Marketing Creator/Influencer Marketing Paid Media Performance PR and SEO.

The Work:
  • Drive new client acquisition within Enterprise and Core customer segments.
  • Close inbound leads efficiently and develop outbound prospecting strategies.
  • Build strong relationships with decisionmakers at top retailers financial services brands and referral partners.
  • Lead the sales process from discovery to close delivering compelling proposals and consultative solutions.
  • Maintain client relationships for the first 12 months to drive upsell opportunities.
  • Represent Gen3 Marketing at industry events and tradeshows.
  • Accurately track all sales activities in HubSpot.

What You Bring:
  • Proven success in affiliate marketing digital media or traditional media sales.
  • Experience selling into complex organizations with a consultative relationshipdriven approach.
  • Strong pipeline development skills through cold calling networking and referrals.
  • A hunter mentalitythriving in a fastpaced goaloriented environment.
  • Excellent sales and communication skills including delivering persuasive presentations and proposals.
  • Familiarity with Sandler Challenger or similar sales methodologies is a plus.
