Assistant Professor of Practical Theology for Regent University School of Divinity in Virginia Beach Virginia.
The Assistant Professor of Practical Theology is a fulltime faculty tenuretrack position in Renewal Theology Spiritual Formation within Church History and Systematic Theology at Regent University School of Divinity.
Job duties include instruction of oncampus and online courses in Renewal Theology and Spiritual Formation within Church History and Systematic Theology to Masters and Doctoral level students advising students regarding academic activities serving as chairperson on thesis and dissertation committees and developing a professional portfolio of teaching research and service in the area of Renewal Theology and Spiritual Formation.
Position requires Doctor of Philosophy or equivalent degree from accredited college seminary or university in the field of Renewal Theology with emphasis on Spiritual Formation within Church History and Systematic Theology and minimum of 36 months experience in higher education at an accredited university and a minimum five 5 years of ministry experience which may be earned concurrently and Certificate of Ordination. Demonstrated proficiency in relevant field is required and applicants are expected to understand and adhere to Regent articles of belief if hired. Candidate must demonstrate a willingness to embrace the College and University Identity and Mission statements and subscribe to a statement of Christian faith.
Wage Range: $52000.00 to $73000.00 to commensurate with experience.
