Position: Design Engineer
Reports to: Project Manager
Experience required: 1 year 6 years.
Job Location: Thane
Job Summary
A groundmountedsolar installation involves many civilMechanical engineering activities such as Solar panel layout design Prepare slope analysis Topographic input study grading document preparation etc. A Solar CivilMechanical Engineers responsibility is to design and implement robust civil infrastructure that will support the entire electrical infrastructure.
Job Description
- Knowledge of Foundation design.
- Knowledge of IS code ASCE & Euro codes.
- Knowledge of effect of wind & snow parameters to structure.
- Awareness on both Indian & International standards application to design.
- Preparing final structural design and associated drawings and calculations packages.
- Prepare Bill of Material.
- Design Estimation and costing of Civil & steel structural works.
- Develop PV structural engineering plans details and calculations
- Experience in software like Staad.
- Preferred if experience in renewable energy ideally utility solar industry.
- Preferred if working with USAbased solar plants.
- Reviewand design of structure and its foundation equipment foundation design in solar plant project.
- Preparegrading document for solar panel. Optimum tilt angle calculation
- Design of module mounting structure of solar plant
- Review analysis of Geotechnical report and pile design
- Experience working in excel Data Analysis
- Knowledge of PVSyst LPile Staad Pro Excellent analytical skills.
- Experience in working with international teams / customers.
- Flexibility to work in USA time zones.
