About the role
We have a new opportunity for a qualified and experiencedPersonal Care Workerto join our Home Care Team in Katherine NT. This role is available on a parttime basis working 24 hours per week on the fixed roster of Monday Tuesday and Fridays 8am4pm.
Your role as Personal Care Worker will see you travelling to peoples homes and providing care and support within the consumers home environment undertaking cleaning bed making personal care including grooming showering mobility and assisting with meals. You may also be required to assist with social support taking consumers to appointments and shopping.
As the ideal candidate you will bring previous experience in either Aged or Disability care. You will be comfortable travelling to peoples homes to provide this care and able to retain a fully insured and reliable vehicle. You will have a caring and understanding approach whilst also able to understand a clients careplan and delegated services provided by their My Aged Care funding. You will enjoy travelling to peoples homes and providing a service with strong customer service attitude and respect.
