Reporting to the Aftermarket Supervisor the Valve Repair Assembly Technician is responsible for the repair of valve equipment within the aftermarket product line while maintaining high standards of production documentation and safety.

Key position functions include:

  • Tear down reassemble and troubleshoot valve equipment for repair in accordance with Company standards and procedures and follow Work Order specifications.
  • Test grease inspect and stamp valves.
  • Complete all related paperwork in an organized and efficient manner.
  • Record nonconformances as required.
  • Inform Supervisor/Lead Hand of any irregularities with orders or equipment.
  • Organize and maintain the work area including maintenance of equipment product storage containers and racking.
  • Assist with shop housekeeping and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
  • Prescheduled additional hours availability when required (Paid overtime).
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Preferred candidates will possess a combination of the following:

  • Related experience with valve repair rebuild and/or teardown experience is an asset.
  • Knowledge of StreamFlo and/or competitors equipment is an asset.
  • A basic understanding of hand and power tool functionality.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude a good work ethic and a willingness to learn.
  • Forklift experience is an asset.
  • Good communication (oral and written) organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced team environment.
