You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailSTV is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our designbuild structures practice within our dynamic Transportation team in our North Carolina office . This role offers the opportunity to work on highimpact projects across roadway transit and public infrastructure sectors. The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with a strong technical design background proven leadership skills and a passion for mentoring emerging talent.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Lead the designbuild structures practice and manage design teams to deliver highquality structural designs from planning through construction.
Oversee project scope budget schedule and cost estimates while ensuring profitable delivery of design services.
Establish and nurture strong working relationships by interfacing with client technical staff project managers and contractor partners.
Mentor and develop junior engineering staff ensuring quality assurance of plans specifications cost estimates and technical reports.
Collaborate with senior leadership to support business development initiatives including pipeline development CRM maintenance and marketing coordination.
Provide task management and direct technical contributions on complex transportation projects driving innovation and creative problemsolving.
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering; a Masters degree is a plus.
Professional Engineering (PE) license with plans to obtain additional licenses as needed
Minimum of 20 years experience in structural design and/or planning transportation projects with a strong background in bridge and infrastructure design.
Proficiency with design software including MicroStation Open Bridge Designer/Leap STAADPRO RAM AutoCAD and MS Office.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to manage multidisciplinary projects in fastpaced environments.
Proven track record in both technical design and project management with a desire to lead and mentor diverse engineering teams.

Compensation Range:
