Exciting Opening for Metabolic/Bariatric Medicine Advanced Practitioner (NP/PA) with Nuvance Health in Rhinebeck NY
Nuvance Health Medical Practice is seeking a fulltime Advanced Practitioner (Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant) to join our new and growing Metabolic & Medical Weight Management Program in our Rhinebeck NY office. This program includes a Medical Director Bariatric Surgeons advanced practitioners as well as dieticians and behavioral health specialists. Our program provides comprehensive evaluations and management of obesity as a chronic disease with a focus on health and wellness. We see both nonsurgical and surgical candidates pre and postoperatively.
The ideal candidate will be a board certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with at least 23 years of experience in bariatric medicine endocrinology primary care and/or related fields. Certification in obesity medicine or willingness to obtain certification is required. Candidate should have excellent communication skills and be able to work both independently and collaboratively as part of the larger integrated multidisciplinary team overseeing patient care. Schedule follows standard MondayFriday office. We offer ahighly competitive compensation package and comprehensive benefits package including allowances for CMEs and Dues.
