The major criterion for appointment in the Clinician Educator Line is excellence in the overall mix of clinical care teaching administrative and/or scholarship appropriate to the programmatic need the individual is expected to fulfill. Academic rank will be determined by the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.
We are particularly interested in candidates who have fellowship training or additional background in Comprehensive Neurology Headache Memory Disorders Movement Disorders and Neuromuscular. Candidates must demonstrate commitment to teaching students residents and fellows. Candidates must also have excellent communication skills and an ability to work collaboratively with other departments and disciplines.
Responsibilities are expected to include care of general and subspecialty neurology patients and teaching of medical students residents and clinical fellows. Faculty will work in our hospital and clinics at Stanford Health Care TriValley (SHCTriValley) in Pleasanton California. While the primary focus will be on clinical duties at SHCTriValley opportunities for involvement at other clinical locations including Emeryville and Palo Alto can be explored depending on the candidates interests and clinical needs at these sites. Opportunities are also available to participate in research quality improvement and development of innovative care programs.

This pay range reflects base pay which is based on faculty rank and years in rank. It may not include all components of faculty compensation or pay from participation in departmental incentive compensation programs.
