Job Description
The Guidance Center (TGC) is the Community Mental Health Center and Certified Behavioral Health Clinic serving Leavenworth Atchison and Jefferson counties in Kansas. We provide highquality care to all individuals regardless of their financial circumstances. The Guidance Center (TGC) is currently seeking an Intake Clinician. This position is responsible for providing intake and shortterm treatment to clients served by The Guidance Center. Pay will be dependent upon previous relevant experience and license type.
EDUCATION AND LICENSURE:
Masters degree in Social Work Clinical Psychology Counseling Psychology Marriage & Family Therapy orProfessional Counseling and licensure by the Kansas Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board as a LMSW LMLP LMFT LPC LSCSW LCP LCPC OR LCMFT by the first day of employment
EXPERIENCE:
Required: two semesters masterlevel practicum experience in a clinical setting providing assessmentand therapy services
Preferred: post masters clinical experience and experience with the Kansassystem of communitybased mental health care and associated evidencebased practices.
