Work Schedule:
Parttime 80 FTE day shift.Shifts will be scheduled Monday Tuesday Thursday and Friday between the hours of 8:00am 4:30pm this may vary/be flexible depending on clinic and/or staff need.Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.
Pay:
UW Health offers a competitive compensation and benefits package. Work experience that is relevant to the position will be taken into consideration when determining the starting base pay.This position is eligible for up to a $2400 signon bonus.

We are seeking aMedical Assistant(MA CMA RMA CCMA LPN) to:
- Join our allergy asthma and immunology specialists who provide definitive diagnostic and therapeutic consultation for conditions such as food drug and environmental allergies anaphylaxis asthma and recurrent respiratory tract infections.
- Provide quality conscientious care with strict attention to details in a fast paced compassionate and patientfamily centered environment.
- Prepare patients for examination obtain vital signs document chief complaint review/update medications and allergies perform spirometry and assist nursing staff with treatments for patients.
- Promote healthy lifestyles wellness and education.

Education:
Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent and ONE of the following:
- Completion of an accredited medical assistant program OR
- Licensure as an LPN OR
- Completion of the UWH Medical Assistant Apprenticeship Program OR
- Attainment of the CCMA certification as a UWH employee OR
- Acceptance into the UWH MA Apprenticeship Program Accelerated OR
- One year of recent Medical Assistant experience and CMA RMA or CCMA Certification in lieu of the above requirements one 1 years of recent Medical Assistant experience andcurrentCMA RMA or CCMA certification
Work Experience:
Preferred One 1 year of experience as a Certified Medical Assistant or LPN
Licenses and Certifications:
Minimum
- Certified as CMA RMA or CCMA or eligible for certification. Certification must be obtained within one 1 year of hire date.
- If applying in lieu of Medical Assistant education or LPN licensure must have current CMA RMA or CCMA certification.
- CPR/BLS certification
