Collaborate with our Head Coach to create enriching supportive and memorable experiences for children enrolled in our program. This valuable and valued position assists the Head Swim Team Coach with a strength and injury prevention program to supplement the inwater swim team workouts. Supporting high levels of community and accountability with participants is key to this role while supporting the overall mission and season plan outlined by the Head Coach. The Strength and Endurance coach will provide quality exercise instruction while delivering highenergy motivating joyful and memorable class experiences for all participants.

This is a regular nonexempt limited parttime position of 12 hours per week with a set schedule of Monday Thursday 3:30 6:30 p.m. Offering great perks a supportive vibrant inperson work environment and a competitive starting pay rate of $25.00 $35.00 per hour.
The pay rate offered will ultimately be determined by relevant qualifications experience and JCCs internal equity.

Education and Experience:
NASM NSCA ACSM or ACE certifications preferred.
CPR/AED certification required (or ability to become certified within 7 days of hire).
1 years of experience coaching small or large groups in the fitness industry.
Knowledge of physiology exercise technique body mechanics and general fitness principles.
Possess excellent organizational and communication skills professionalism and the ability to quickly adapt to change and problem solve.
Bachelors degree in physical education or an exercise or fitness related field is a benefit but not required.
Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted at the JCCs discretion to meet minimum criteria.
Skills and Abilities:
Must display management and supervisory skills.
Computer skills (email Word and Excel) required.
Excellent customer service and communications skills required.
Physical Requirements: Able to work well in a busy dynamic and sometimes noisy environment involving multiple tasks and priorities. Able to lift and carry objects weighing at 3040 pounds. Able to sit and kneel; getting down at eye level with children regularly.
