Key Requirements: Education & Experience
- BTech Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Experience in Renewable Energy particularly solar.
- Proficiency in MS Office Excel Power Point and Outlook. Familiarity with solar software like Helioscope and PV Syst.
Prerequisites
- Own vehicle and drivers license required & comfortable with frequent travel within Gauteng
Essential Experience
- Monitoring systems and faultfinding
- Highlevel solar design expertise
- Detailoriented with excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in Helioscope and Excel
RESPONSIBILITIES
Monitoring of Existing Assets 40
- Remote daily monitoring of our asset portfolio
- Coordinate technical team callouts
- Identify and troubleshoot underperforming assets
- Regularly report system performance to management
System Design & Quotation 40
- Develop initial solar and BESS system designs based on client input
- Generate quotations for the sales team
- Conduct technical site visits as needed
Ad Hoc Support 20
- Assist Senior Project Engineer with detailed engineering packs
- Manage metering partner relationships
- Support operations team with research on metering and hardware development
