Job Description
USCC Cyber Command JSEC IAT IAM
Due to federal contract requirements United States citizenship and an active TS/SCI security clearance and polygraph are required for the position.
Required:
- Must be a US Citizen
- Must have TS/SCI clearance w/ active polygraph
- Minimum of Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Engineering Computer Science Cybersecurity Computer Engineering or related discipline
- Minimum ten 10 years of experience with Cybersecurity Information Assurance or a related functional area
- Minimum of DOD 8140/DOD 8570 IAM Level II
- Develops and designs security solutions to maintain confidentiality integrity and availability of information throughout the enterprise
- Identifies plans and documents improvements to security controls currently in place
- Develops and documents recommendations and courses of action (COAs) to solve complex cybersecurity problems
- Plans and schedules the installation of new or modified security hardware operating systems and software applications
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
- Indepth knowledge and understanding of the DOD cybersecurity policies and the Risk Management Framework
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of DOD and/or Intelligence Community (IC) engineering efforts across multiple engineering disciplines
- Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
- CompTIA Security
- GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC)
- GIAC Cyber Threat Intelligence (GCTI)
- GIAC OpenSource Intelligence (GOSI)
- GIAC Certified Intrusion Analyst (GCIA)
- GIAC Defending Advanced Threats (GDAT)
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
$100000 $180000 a year
The pay range for this job with multilevels is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job education experience knowledge skills and abilities as well as internal equity alignment with market data applicable bargaining agreement (if any) or other law.
