We have partnered with a dynamic construction company seeking to add a Payroll Accountant to their team. This position will play a crucial role in supporting the payroll & accounting team.
Job Responsibilities:
Process weekly or biweekly payrolls including garnishments benefits and taxes to consistent with federal and state wage and hour laws
Ensures the processing of new hires temporary workers transfers promotions and terminations is accurate and timely
Prepares and audits W4s payroll balance sheets YTD earnings etc.
Manages regular preparation of relevant management reports including weekly monthly quarterly and yearend reports
Reconcile bank accounts
Maintains employee benefits programs
Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements
Completes human resource operational requirements
Administers benefits programs
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree preferred
2 years experience of payroll processing
Working knowledge of Word Excel and payroll systems
