The Susan S. Morrison School of Nursing (SON) in the Morrison Family College of Health at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul Minnesota invites applicants for a 9month clinical track professor position. Clinical track faculty are fulltime employees with teaching advising service and other programspecific responsibilities outlined at the time of appointment. We seek applicants who are committed to teaching excellence both within a traditional BSN and accelerated prelicensure MSN program. The successful applicant will teach a range of prelicensure nursing courses with preference given to those with content expertise in the following areas: Psychiatric Nursing Maternal Child Nursing and Complex Nursing Care (MedicalSurgical). Our ideal clinical track faculty candidate will also extend their clinical or teaching expertise by supporting student learning outcomes through a specialty engagement in the school of nursing. In addition faculty provide academic advising to students and participate in service activities in the school college and university. We seek candidates committed to fostering inclusive learning environments interested in working as part of an interprofessional college team willing to develop and modify nursing curricula to support student outcomes and eager to engage with students.
