Job Summary:
This position is an excellent careerbuilding opportunity for a selfmotivated flexible and energetic team player. It offers the opportunity to help develop optimum solutions for business challenges and to develop a broad network of contacts within Raytheon Corporate Office and across other Raytheon Technologies business units. The Raytheon Financial Consolidations Team is a small team that oversees Raytheon segment financial consolidation small site accounting and reporting and lease accounting and reporting. The selected team member will develop a wellrounded understanding of Raytheon accounting structure and system. The experience gained will provide a foundation for continued broadening of financial experience at Raytheon.
What You Will Do:
Support the monthly consolidation process for nonSAP accounting ledgers and branches in support of the overall month end close and consolidation process. This may include but is not limited to preparing journal entries account reconciliations and reviewing accounting transactions associated with a nonSAP ledger and Foreign branches.
Have responsibility of ensuring compliance and reporting requirements for the applicable nonSAP ledgers including but not limited to corporate reporting government reporting and internal reviews
Prepare schedules for Financial Reporting
Participate in special projects and analysis
Perform monthly Small site ledger review and upload for consolidation
In addition to nonSAP accounting activities this member may participate and support Accounting software conversion and process improvement projects
Ensuring compliance with key internal control procedures
Preparing and posting complex journal entries
Completing account reconciliations and analytical tasks
Preparing Trial Balance charts/schedules and presenting to the General Accounting Manager and Controller
Assist with external auditor requests
Support lease accounting asset retirement obligation (ARO) environmental liabilities
Act as a resource for other Financial Accounting team members to analyze and develop solutions to a variety of complex problems
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Math Business or a related field and 2 years relevant financial/accounting experience
Experience with SAP (APEX and BCS) Analysis for Office MS Excel or similar financial systems.
U.S. Citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements.
Qualifications We Prefer:
Selfstarter; able to work autonomously with limited oversight as well as in teams.
Communicate and prioritize effectively.
High customer focus on resolving issues and delivering solutions.
Knowledge of program financial planning financial statements and revenue recognition.
Strong problem solving skills; ability to troubleshoot system issues & test proposed solutions.
Prior experience working with additional Raytheon Finance Tools (EDIT SAP APEX PMX Tools).

The salary range for this role is 66000 USD 130000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
