Job Description
Introduction
Join our client in expanding their team as a Construction Manager and contribute to the creation of exceptional residential commercial and industrial projects.
The company specialises in:
- Luxury residential developments
- Complex multistory buildings
Position Function:
Take ownership of the entire construction lifecycle across multiple projects. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring seamless timely delivery and unparalleled quality. Youll be the driving force behind onsite efficiency resource allocation and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and coordinate all onsite construction activities managing resources and teams effectively.
- Guarantee projects are delivered within stipulated timelines and budgetary constraints adhering to the highest quality benchmarks.
- Maintain meticulous oversight of all construction processes ensuring compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
- Proactively manage and mitigate potential risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Foster strong communication and collaboration among all stakeholders including clients subcontractors and internal teams.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Construction Management (B.Sc. or B.Tech) Civil Engineering (B.Eng. or B.Tech) or a related discipline.
- A Masters degree or professional certifications like PMP are highly desirable.
- 510 years of substantial experience in construction management specifically with largescale projects (residential commercial or multistory).
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage construction teams.
- Comprehensive understanding of construction methodologies budgeting scheduling and risk analysis.
- Indepth knowledge of South African building codes safety regulations (OHS Act) and environmental standards.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
