Job Description

Reports to: Credit and Collections Manager

Position Summary:
Administrative Assistant: Provide daily administrative and clerical duties for the Credit and Collections team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Administrative Assistant:
  • Able to work in customer portals to upload invoices.
  • Assist with compiling information and mailing customer refunds.
  • Prepare invoices for delivery via US Mail or email according to the customers requests.
  • Complete lien waivers on a requested basis.
  • Researches customer discrepancies and pastdue amounts with the assistance of the Collections Manager and other staff.
  • Investigate returned mail to determine the correct address for mailing of invoices/correspondence through minimal phone calling google searching etc.
  • Working branch aging report by emailing past due invoices.
  • Prepares posts verifies and records customer payments and transactions related to accounts receivable.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
No formal supervisory role.

Education and Experience Requirements:
  • This position requires 2 year of administrative assistant experience.
  • Shown ability to collaborate with other team members to accomplish tasks.
  • Proven organizational skills and attention to detail.

Physical/Mental Demands:
Position requires a high degree of concentration to manage frequent interruptions while meeting strict deadlines. Position is largely sedentary; however some filing is required. The ability to lift files open filing cabinets and bend sit or stand is necessary. Occasional driving is required.

Compensation:
The pay range listed is the base pay range that Satellite Shelters inc/Satellite Industries Inc. reasonably expects to pay someone for this position (compensation may vary outside of this range depending on several factors including but not limited to a candidates qualifications skills competencies experience location and end client requirements).
