Are you a detailoriented Financial Accountant with a passion for startups and international finance You will be a dynamic professional with ability to manage bookkeeping and financial administration across three global entities. If you thrive in an entrepreneurial environment excel in financial analysis and can navigate IFRS and the Companies Act I want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Manage supplier loading
- Manage supplier invoice processing
- Manage supplier statement reconciliations
- Manage and prepare supplier payment run loading (as per terms)
- Load POs and outstanding PO reporting
- Oversee sales PO tracking and reconciliation to customer billings
- Oversee monthly review of all accounting entries
- Oversee international relating party billing and account reconciliation
- Manage monthly management accounts reporting
- Manage monthly stock movement reconciliation
- Manage stock and debtor reporting fortnightly
- Manage calculation of interest and repayment schedules
- Manage monthly debtors meeting pack preparation
- Ensure monthly aging is sent to credit insurance
- Manage fortnightly debtors aging review meeting
- Manage and oversee of audit process
- Manage budget preparation
- Manage monthly journal processing
- Manage international relating party billing and account reconciliation
- Manage monthly stock movement reconciliation and adjustments
- Support calculation and submission of VAT
- Manage monthly debtor statements distribution and collection
Requirements:
- Relevant Finance Degree or Diploma
- Min of 2 4 years experience as an Accountant preferably in a medium scale enterprise (SME)
- Proven ability in providing accuratefinancial reports insights and analysis
- Knowledge of VAT and other tax legislative requirements locally and in international jurisdictions
- Knowledge and prior exposure to international entities foreign currency and intercompany transactions
