Overview
Were seeking Software Engineers (Mid to Senior levels) to support a Marine Corps acquisition program in Stafford VA. This role involves software development and evaluation within systems that combine hardware software and cyber considerations across the full acquisition lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and validate Software Version Descriptions (SVDs).
Support software requirements within systemlevel (SW/HW) specifications.
Review OEMsubmitted CDRLs and software documentation.
Participate in IPTs and contribute to technical discussions and reviews.
Analyze software integration interoperability and cybersecurity impacts.
Create and maintain technical documents: ICDs development plans test procedures.
Apply secure coding practices and address vulnerabilities (STIGs RMF).
Support planning for cloudhosted solutions with awareness of DoD Cloud Impact Levels (IL2IL5.
Assist in test event planning and reporting

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelors in computer science Software Engineering or related field
5 additional years of experience may substitute for a degree)
MidLevel: 59 years SeniorLevel: 10 years
Experience with software development lifecycle documentation and defense acquisition
Familiarity with SVDs CDRLs and systems that integrate hardware and software
Understanding of DoD cybersecurity frameworks and Cloud IL requirements
Tools: Git Jira Confluence MS Office
Strong communication collaboration and documentation skills
Nice to Have
Experience with C2 systems tactical networks or expeditionary platforms
Exposure to Agile or DevSecOps in defense settings
