Job Description

- Primarily to operate inspect and maintain an asphalt plant in order to produce materials which comply with the company quality specifications.
- To plan the next days production according to customer requirements and plant capabilities.
- Startup & shutdown routines and maximizing throughput within the capacity of the plant.
- Inspection & monitoring of plant in accordance with the site regime.
- Maintenance and repair of the plant within their scope and competence & keep accurate records in accordance with management requirements.
- Refuelling of machines both static and mobile.
- Operation of mobile plant FEL for loading and plant feed & dumper for mineral movement as required by site management.
- To be able to operate machines in a safe and proper manner.
- To undertake maintenance works to static and mobile plant as required by manufacturer and Heidelberg materials.
- To undertake these duties at other Heidelberg sites in the area within reasonable travelling distance where transport or travelling allowance may be provided if the distance exceeds the normal journey.
