What are we looking for
Education and Experience:
A bachelors degree in Marketing Website Design/Maintenance Information Systems Management or another related field
At least one year of related work experience including customer service data collection and/or administrative support
Alternate combinations of education and experience will be considered on a casebycase basis.
Competencies:
Knowledge of:
Principles and practices of computer system data maintenance and reporting
Website development including content management systems digital asset management systems website analytics software basic HTML 5 & CSS 3 website design graphic design
Customer service standards
Principles and practices of marketing public relations basic English formatting and editing administrative office support and records management
General knowledge of the State of Montana including its geography history and attractions
Ability to:
Communicate effectively verbally and in writing
Work with a large volume of data on a computer system
Build and maintain effective working relationships with department staff customers and the general public
Work independently

This position allows for a hybrid work schedule from a remote location within the State of Montana. Weekly travel to Helena offices will be required. Specific conditions will be outlined as part of the job offer and must adhere to state policy. New Employees may be required to complete training in person before hybrid work schedules begin.

About this Position
This position is responsible formanaging Commerces database of tourismrelated sites services and events and evaluating overall effectiveness. In addition this position manages the regular survey and update of records for businesses government agencies and other tourism related entities. The work involves:
