Qualifications:

• Work accurately with a high attention to detail
• A team player who is able to work within tight deadlines
• Computer proficiency JDE and Equip programs an asset
• Ability to exert maximum muscle force to lift push pull or carry objects up to 50 pounds
• 13 years experience in a warehouse or related environment
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada with no restrictions

Warehouse Lead Hand (Full Time) Milton ON

Reporting to the Distribution Manager in this position you will be responsible for performing all warehouse functions to ensure a smooth flow of products into and from the Distribution Centre (DC).

Operations Management:

• Manage and coordinate daily warehouse activities including shipping and receiving inventory management order fulfillment and returns processing.
• Ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks by warehouse staff.
• Monitor warehouse equipment and supplies ordering new items when needed.

Team Leadership:

• Supervise warehouse staff including new hires.
• Train and mentor warehouse employees.
• Assign tasks and workloads to team members.
• Provide guidance and support to team members.

Safety and Compliance:

• Ensure the warehouse is clean organized and safe.
• Enforce and maintain safety protocols and procedures.

Inventory Management:

• Maintain accurate inventory records and levels within JDE and on the shelves.
• Identify and address inventory discrepancies by working with Purchasing Department.

Communication:

• Communicate effectively with warehouse staff management and other departments including Customer Service and Dispatch.
• Address and resolve issues promptly.

Backup for Warehouse Manager:

• Act as a backup for the District Manager in their absence.
• Maintain smooth operations and ensure all tasks are completed.
