Position Summary:
The primary purpose of this position is to assist in the development and implementation of financial management strategies throughout all functions of the company as well as ensure compliance with financial requirements and principles. In addition this role will assist in the coordination of the monthly financial close all Energy Hydraulic audits financial analysis of acquisition opportunities and the annual budget process.
Responsibilities:
Perform closing activities including reconciliations accruals and journal entries.
Prepare and review financial statements ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
Analyze financial data to identify trends variances and opportunities for cost savings.
Maintain and oversee general ledger accounts ensuring proper documentation and reporting.
Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
Collaborate with leadership teams to support business operations and decisionmaking.
Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Assist with sales tax reporting.
Implement accounting policies procedures and internal controls.
General Education and Experience:
Bachelors degree in accounting Finance or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years accounting experience.
Strong knowledge of GAAP financial reporting and internal controls.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Knowledge in SQL preferred.
Excellent analytical problemsolving and organizational skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.
