Prepare organizations for grant audits by ensuring proper documentation recordkeeping and adherence to audit guidelines.

Offer training on grant compliance requirements best practices and audit procedures to enhance organizational capacity.
Single Audit Expertise:
Assist with single audits(also known as Uniform Guidance audits)required for organizations receiving federal funding.

The Grant Audit Consultant must:
Have a minimum of three 3 years of grant (financial and compliance) audit experience.
Meet Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS) requirements for continuing professional education (CPE).
Note: Each auditor performing work under GAGAS should complete at least 80 hours of CPE that directly enhance the auditors professional proficiency to perform audits or attestation engagements every two 2 years. At least 24 of the 80 hours of CPE should be in subjects directly related to government auditing the government environment or the specific or unique environment in which the audited entity operates. At least 20 hours of the 80 should be completed in any one 1 year of the two 2)year period.
Knowledge and use of TeamMate audit management software is required.
