As a Christian organisation were on a mission to turn the whole camping scene into something super special for our guests. Were not just about the regular business of running a camp; we strive to create opportunities for moments that change lives!

CYC Forest Edge is set on a beautiful 120 acre property on the banks of the LaTrobe River catering yearround for 200 guests at a time. We have the privilege of hosting a variety of groups with varying needs and objectives from highenergy adventure focused programs through to relaxing retreats. As part of our Catering team you have the opportunity serve our guests through providing tasty visually appealing and healthy meals in a clean pleasant and welcoming camp environment.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a highly motivated team player to fill a maternity leave position. Someone who is passionate about all things food and hospitality. It is a handson role that requires you to lead and serve your team in order to provide the best possible experience for our guests.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing effective leadership to the team guiding and motivating team members to achieve department goals
• Building rapport with guest leaders to ensure positive meal experiences through all areas of service especially in regard to special diets management
• Oversight of department administrative operations including menu planning stock ordering staff rostering leave management supplier invoicing and other office duties
• Recruitment and training of team members to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
• Active contribution to Leadership Team meetings

Essential requirements:

• A Victorian employee Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
• Valid rights to work in Australia
