We are seeking a Behavior Specialist Consultant to join our team and provide expert behavioral assessment and intervention services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing behavior intervention plans (BIPs) conducting functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and collaborating with families educators and support teams to improve the quality of life for individuals with behavioral challenges.
Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments including FBAs VBMAPP MAS FAST QABF EDMR and Vineland.
Develop and implement personalized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) to address challenging behaviors and teach positive skills.
Utilize Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles to guide intervention strategies.
Provide training and support to families caregivers and educators on implementing behavior plans.
Collect and analyze datadriven metrics to monitor progress and adjust interventions accordingly.
Focus on skillbuilding in communication social interaction and independent living skills.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including therapists psychologists and educators to ensure comprehensive care.
Advocate for clients in educational and community settings to ensure proper accommodations and supports.
Masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis Psychology Special Education or a related field.
Licensed Behavior Specialist (LBS) in Pennsylvania (or eligible).
Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) eligibility is a plus.
Minimum 2 years of experience in behavior therapy special education or mental health settings.
Proficiency in conducting assessments and designing behavior interventions for individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities.
Strong communication and collaboration skills with clients families and professional teams.
Ability to work in various settings including homes schools and clinical environments.
Knowledge of data collection graphing and progress monitoring techniques.
Experience with crisis intervention and deescalation strategies.
Familiarity with educational technologies and special education instructional design.
Ability to provide mentorship and training to caregivers and educators.
