We are seeking a Commercial Business Analyst in Highland IL
As a Commercial Business Analyst you will play a key role in collecting market industry customer competitor and product data and in using analytical tools and skills to transform the data into knowledge and insights for the business. This person will provide key support to the business to enable more datadriven decision making. Our ideal candidate is highly analytical detailoriented an excellent communicator and has previous experience working with market financial scientific or other related data in support of business needs.
About The Role
Responsibilities:
Gain awareness of and ability to access all available internal and external data sources that have utility in supporting the TN CA business
Gain understanding of the key business goals for TN CA and determine what data and analysis can be used to support these
Build and maintain key data sets that would be used routinely in ongoing analysis including but not limited to internal data industry customer and competitor data.
Use data analysis to create key insights and make recommendations for business decisions
Skills and Expertise
Qualifications:
Bachelors or Masters degree in a Science Engineering Finance Business Marketing Economics Statistics or related discipline
A minimum of 5 years experience working with market financial scientific or other businessrelated data in support of business needs
Very comfortable managing and manipulating large data sets in ERP systems Excel Power BI or similar software
Experience with or willingness to learn reporting / visualization software (Power BI)
Ability to use effective interpersonal skills to work crossfunctionally without authority while influencing meaningful outcomes for the business
Ability to manage time prioritize work and communicate issues as needed
Willingness to travel up to 10 of the time as needed to support business priorities
