SUMMARY DESCRIPTION OF WORK
The Program Director oversees the operations of both Nebraska Family Works and Iowa Family Works residential substance use treatment programs that support women and their children in achieving stable sobriety economic selfsufficiency and family wellness. This role ensures highquality service delivery regulatory compliance and staff supervision across both sites.
Family Works provides traumainformed familycentered treatment in a residential setting where women can live with their children while progressing through recovery. The program integrates behavioral health parenting support and housing services emphasizing collaboration with other systems of care to strengthen families and improve longterm outcomes. Additionally Nebraska Family Works offers supportive housing and aftercare services to promote lasting stability.
The Program Director will provide strategic direction and operational oversight ensuring the implementation of best practices in traumainformed and clientcentered care. This position will manage program budgets ensure compliance with state and federal regulations directly oversee the Assistant Program Directors at each location and foster a multidisciplinary team approach to deliver effective treatment and support services.
The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in decisionmaking problemsolving and staff development. Strong organizational skills attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines are essential.
Compensation:between $65500 and $82864 per year (salary is determined by total years of relevant experience)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors Degree and 5 or more years experience in related field required or a Masters Degree in human services psychology social work sociology or a related field preferred.
- Substance abuse and mental health experience
- Supervisory experience
- Valid drivers license/ acceptable driving record
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- *Provide strategic direction and operational oversight for Nebraska Family Works and Iowa Family Works ensuring adherence to best practices in traumainformed clientcentered care.
- *Facilitate close collaboration between the Iowa Family Works and Nebraska Family Works programs identifying operational efficiencies streamlining processes and fostering a unified collaborative partnership between both facilities to enhance service delivery and program effectiveness.
- *Supervise and support program staff fostering a culture of accountability professional growth and high performance.
- *Ensure program compliance with state and federal regulations including licensing requirements accreditation standards and LowIncome Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) compliance.
- *Manage program budgets contracts and funding requirements to ensure sustainability and resource optimization.
- *Oversee supportive housing services ensuring families receive the assistance needed to achieve independent stable housing while maintaining LIHTC compliance and other applicable housing regulations including tenant eligibility documentation and compliance monitoring.
- *Strengthen relationships with community partners child welfare agencies behavioral health providers and housing resources to enhance service delivery and client outcomes.
- *Utilize datadriven approaches to monitor program effectiveness track outcomes and implement improvements.
- *Provides regular supervision training and support for all program staff.
- *Hires supervises monitors trains evaluates and develops program staff.
- Provides support to Assistant Program Directors (APD) in coordinating admissions clinical staff referrals and funding sources.
- *Networks and collaborates with community providers and agency programs to assist clients in accessing needed community resources.
- *Works as a team member with other program staff to provide traumainformed care to clients.
- *Assists APDs in developing and coordinating activities for staff program and volunteers.
- *Assists APDs in developing and maintaining the staffing schedule to include monitoring schedules.
- *Available for oncall emergencies on a rotating basis. Available to assist on evenings and weekends as needed to support the staff program and clients.
- Participates in program quality improvement teams and workgroups. Guides implementation of any projects policies etc.
- Completes all required monthly and quarterly reports for Quality Improvement Public Health grants and auditing purposes. Collects and monitors data needed for reports.
- Updates develops and completes forms for program needs.
- Monitors and manages deadlines for reports specific projects and tasks.
- *Coordinates with APD and Office Manager to monitor inventory of supplies food training materials furnishings toys and outdoor equipment.
- Ensures fidelity of established record keeping procedures.
- Participates in interdisciplinary family/case staffing to obtain information provide information and assist with service planning.
- *Assists in facilitating educational participant support groups and training staff to facilitate these groups.
- Remains knowledgeable of support group services that provide support services for persons with substance abuse problems and their families.
- Evaluates efficiency and effectiveness of community service providers on an ongoing basis to ensure clients are receiving quality care.
- Collaborates with the Grants Coordinator to identify and pursue funding opportunities that support program sustainability and growth. Assists in grant research proposal development and ensuring accurate program reporting to meet funding requirements.
