Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Academic Advisor to join our team at Kalinga University in Raipur Chhattisgarh India. As an Academic Advisor you will be responsible for providing guidance and support to students in their academic journey. You will help students make informed decisions about their course selection monitor their progress and assist them in overcoming any challenges they may face. This is a fulltime position with a focus on student success and satisfaction.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong marketing and telecalling skills
- Ability to understand and analyze students academic needs
- Good problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of admissions processes and requirements
- Strong followthrough skills and attention to detail
- Ability to build rapport and establish trust with students
- Proactive approach towards student support and success
- Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software
Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide academic guidance and support to students
- Assist students in course selection based on their interests goals and academic requirements
- Monitor and track students academic progress identifying areas of concern and providing appropriate interventions
- Address students queries and concerns related to their academic journey
- Collaborate with faculty and administrators to ensure a smooth academic experience for students
- Organize and conduct workshops and seminars to enhance students academic skills and knowledge
- Stay updated with university policies programs and resources to provide accurate information to students
- Support students in developing study plans and time management strategies
- Provide career counseling and guidance to help students make informed decisions about their future
- Maintain accurate and confidential student records
