Heres what youll do:

  • The Product Sales Manager (PSM) is a sales professional who is highly motivated resultsdriven and possesses technical proficiency.
  • Their main objective is to promote and increase sales of Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and Video Measuring Machines (VMM) within their designated territory.
  • The PSMs responsibilities include developing and nurturing strong relationships with customers identifying new sales opportunities and providing the necessary technical and commercial expertise to expand the companys market presence with these products.
  • Additionally the PSM actively seeks out innovative ways to assist customers in enhancing their quality control processes and implementing advanced metrology solutions.
  • By being proactive and knowledgeable about the products they represent the PSM plays a crucial role in driving sales growth and contributing to the companys success.
  • Engage new and existing customers to achieve sales booking objectives.
  • Identify and create new sales opportunities to expand the companys market presence.
  • Identify and share leads with other sales teams and channels to maximize sales potential.
  • Explore innovative ways to support customers and provide exceptional service. Collaborate with various departments to ensure a seamless customer experience and take ownership of customer success.
  • Collaborate closely with our technical team to deliver topnotch product and solution demonstrations.
  • Follow the ZEISS sales process to propose the best solution for the customers needs.
  • Support sales and marketing events to promote our products and engage with potential customers.
  • Follow our proven ZEISS Sales Process to tailor the best solutions for customers specific needs.
  • Keep our CRM system updated with all sales activities relationships and the status of sales leads and opportunities.

Do you qualify

  • Bachelors degree in engineering or related field. A background in Mechanical Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering is preferred.
  • 25 years of proven experience in technical sales preferably in the field of metrology or precision measurement systems

Working Environment:

  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to understand complex engineering concepts. Ability to articulate technical information in a simplistic and concise manner.
  • Strong problemsolving and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple customer accounts simultaneously.
  • Ability to reason and negotiate complex challenges.
  • Proactiveness & a strong need to succeed.
  • Having a receptive attitude towards change as well as a willingness to experiment.
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office programs (Excel PowerPoint Word Outlook).
  • Willingness to travel frequently to customers and industry events. Manage a high level of travel 5075 of the time.
