Job Description
The Department of Emergency Medicine conducts a wide range of research studies at University Hospital. We are looking for a personable selfmotivated and organized parttime Clinical Research Assistant.
This role will assist in the of clinical studies in accordance with approved protocols:
- interact with patients
- families and clinical staff
- maintain records of clinical research
- collect/process specimens asindicated by study protocols.
This position offers valuable clinical research experience in preparation for those seeking health care related careers. Identify screen consent patients in accordance with study protocols. Administer surveys and followup with study participants. Adhere to IRB approved protocols comply with Institutional policies SOP guidelines and federal state and sponsor policies.Collect/transport samples from patients as needed/indicated by the research protocol. Collect required data code and enter onto clinical research forms or into computerized database. Maintain accurate and timely research records while upholding patient confidentiality according to the principles of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and regulatory compliance. Perform other administrative and research duties as assigned.
Associates Degree or equivalent with relevant experience required
Experience in a healthcare setting either clinical or research
Bachelors degree in a scientific or health care field preferred
Shifts will be scheduled during the hours of 4pm12am weekdays and 8am12am weekends.
G1: $15.00 $17.51
