Job Description
Job Overview:
Hire Resolves client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Engineer in the field of Renewable Energy. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing and delivering renewable energy projects possess excellent technical skills and possess extensive knowledge of electrical systems and renewable energy technologies. The Senior Project Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the entire project life cycle from planning to ensuring the highest levels of quality efficiency and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the of renewable energy projects from design to commissioning ensuring compliance with project requirements specifications and safety standards.
- Develop project plans schedules and budgets ensuring project milestones and deliverables are met within the defined time frames.
- Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments in collaboration with crossfunctional teams to ensure the viability and suitability of renewable energy projects.
- Coordinate with stakeholders including clients contractors regulatory bodies and suppliers to ensure effective communication and seamless project implementation.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams addressing engineering issues reviewing designs and ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement risk mitigation strategies to identify and manage project risks effectively.
- Analyse project specifications electrical drawings and data to identify areas for improvement cost reduction and optimization of energy generation and distribution systems.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to explore new renewable energy technologies implement innovations and drive continuous improvement.
- Stay updated with industry trends renewable energy regulations codes and standards to ensure compliance and bring innovation to the projects.
- Prepare and present project status reports including progress budget and technical issues to stakeholders and management.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering
- Professional registration with ECSA
- Experience in renewable energy field
- Experience in managing multiphase projects including project planning scheduling budgeting and quality control.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools for effective planning and reporting.
- Excellent problemsolving abilities and the ability to analyse complex technical issues and provide practical solutions.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with crossfunctional teams stakeholders and clients.
