Navigation Program Director-Part-Time as Needed

Seeking a new career challenge Then Woolpert is seeking you! Woolpert is hiring aNavigation Program Director on a part time basis to support to support our Advisory Services/Buildings Sector. This position would support parttime inperson hybrid or fulltime telecommuter working arrangements however candidates in areas geographically located near any of our design/master planning centers; Dayton OH Cincinnati OH Indianapolis IN Fairview Heights IL Charlotte NC Virginia Beach VA would be preferred with location in East Coast South or Midwest being the secondary preference.

This position is primarily responsiblefor delivering advisory services including technical project support and developing strategy and tactics related to Federal and other Government agency markets. Reporting to the Advisory Services Market Director the Navigation PD is responsible for leading crosssector technical teams to execute projects for developing and managing all business development activities for assigned clients and for delivering a specific yearly sales and revenue goal.Success will be measured by the ability to develop lead and grow relationships and projects.

Working with market and discipline leaders project managers and other Woolpert subject matter experts you will devise execute and manage strategic projects and marketing as an industryleading representative in your area. You will also be collaborating with supporting and promoting other markets and practices to assist their growth.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership in the development and delivery of navigation services across Woolpert in continuous evaluation of and adherence to short and longterm strategic objectives.
• Provide technical leadership on crosssector navigation projects studies requirements and business development strategies.
• Establish and maintain strong crosssector relationships to understand their needs and seek full range of business solutions.
• Build and deliver Woolperts trusted advisor reputation while developing navigation capabilities by trust through competency delivery and thought leadership.
• Become a subject matter expert with our clients while being the industry expert for Woolpert on navigation and marine transportation solutions.
• Achieve growth in navigation projects nationally by forging new relationship and by building on existing business opportunities and securing new valuebased programmatic business.
• Create and ensure conformance to a clear market development strategy that encompasses all relevant disciplines and delivers on sales growth and revenue objectives.
• Communicate regularly with other departments executives and staff reporting on technical and submarket activity.

• 15 years of experience in navigation and marine transportation sciences issues and solutions
• Bachelors degree in Architecture Engineering Science Planning or a related field.
• Wellconnected in USACE and other Federal agencies with a reputation as an expert leader and subject matter expert by past clients and peers.
• Strategic thinker who can connect vision and strategy to tactical .
• Strong presence and leadership skills with proven experience in building and managing crossfunctional teams.
• Strong organizational development skills with confidence to develop and lead.
• Demonstrated ability to lead build and hold teams accountable and achieve results.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate engage and build trust with clients and staff.
• Strong USACE and Federal Sector knowledge with business development financial analytical and business acumen.
• Must be a proactive selfstarter with a track record of making good decisions.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting Woolpert and Market/Sector needs.
• Must be willing to travel up to 10 depending on location.
