Chapman Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram of Scottsdale is looking for a FullTimeLot Porter to join our team! As a Lot Porter you will provide support to the sales department by maintaining the appearance and organization of vehicles on the sales lot allowing the dealership to make a positive first impression for visitors and customers. Core Responsibilities:
- Keep new and used vehicle lots neat and orderly following dealership display standards.
- Ensure vehicles are ready for test drives including cleaning the interior and exterior of vehicles replenishing gas and other vehicle fluids and replacing batteries as needed.
- Make key tags and place buyer guides and stock tags in vehicles.
- Drive vehicles to and from new and used car lots service lane service stalls etc.
- Assist with keeping the showroom sales lots and parking lots clean.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Dealership lot attendant/porter experience is a plus but not required. We provide training!
- A positive teamplayer attitude with a desire to learn and grow within the organization.
- Good communication skills and willingness to help in other areas as needed.
- Experience driving manual transmission vehicles is a plus!
- Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods and lift 25 lbs.
- Must have a valid drivers license and clean driving record.
- Must pass a preemployment background check and drug screening.
Hours and Work Environment:
We are open Monday Saturday and closed on Sundays. We offer flexible scheduling with shifts that start as early as 8am and end as late as 9pm; scheduled hours may vary. In this role you will spend the majority of your shift working outdoors on the sales lot driving and parking vehicles. There will be occasional indoor work and computer usage.
