Job Description
THE ROLE
We are seeking a Legal Counsel for an internationally operating consumer goods company based in Switzerland. The successful candidate will provide expert legal support across Europe with a particular focus on Frenchspeaking countries and will be responsible for a broad range of legal and compliance matters. Fluency in both English and French is essential.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review and negotiate various commercial contracts including sales and procurement agreements
- Work closely with internal stakeholders and business teams across Europe
- Manage corporate governance affairs
- Implement and maintain compliance with privacy regulations including GDPR
- Advise on employment lawrelated issues
- Deliver comprehensive legal training
- Oversee litigation cases and coordinate with external legal counsel when necessary
- Qualified lawyer (preferably Frenchqualified) with at least 3 years of inhouse legal experience ideally in the consumer goods retail or FMCG sectors
- Strong expertise in contract law compliance and regulatory matters
- Excellent command of French and fluency in English; proficiency in German is
a plus - Highly motivated proactive and dedicated to make an impact
