ABOUT THE ROLE:
Were searching for innovative Software Engineers ready to redefine how businesses connect with customers. OUR STACK:

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Be a key contributor to Regals backend systems and Nodebased APIs helping execute against our product roadmap and delivering highquality scalable systems in collaboration with the Product and Design teams.
- Develop and integrate AIdriven features into our communication workflows leveraging machine learning for predictive customer engagement and automation.
- Improve the observability and throughput of our Node APIs and services.
- Understand the ins and outs of Twilio APIs AWS services and AI frameworks that we rely on
- Work with other engineers on the team to write and review RFCs conduct code reviews and support your code in production.
- Work with our Senior and Staff Engineers to improve and implement scalability maintainability and performance standards.
- Use platforms like Datadog to instrument and monitor code in production.
- Provide oncall support for the application and work to triage production issues.
ABOUT YOU:
- 1 year experience working with web technologies ideally in a highgrowth environment
- Fluent in Node.js with Typescript backends (Nice to have: Python experience particularly in AI/ML applications)
- Experience with AI/ML technologies such as NLP LLMs or predictive analytics is a plus.
- Proficient in working with Relational Databases (e.g. Postgres) (Nice to have: DynamoDB)
- Experience building and scaling systems in production.
- Proactively collaborates with Product and other engineers to deliver complex projects.
- Passionate about quality of code AIdriven solutions and scalable systems.
- Enthusiastic about the highimpact fastpaced work environment of an earlystage startup.
- Passion for learning and a deep technical curiosityconstantly improving yourself and eager to fully understand the problems you are tackling.

$100000 $120000 a year
The reasonably estimated base salary for this role is provided as a range within this job description. All offers include a competitive equity package and some offers may additionally include a variable compensation component. Actual compensation is determined on an individualized basis taking into consideration factors such as the candidates skills location qualifications experience and relevant education or training. In addition Regal offers a comprehensive set of employee benefits which are listed above. Details about the compensation package will be finalized at the time of offer.
POSITION LOCATION & OFFICE DETAILS:
This position is only available in New York City (HQ NoMad). Hybrid roles are required in office T/W/TH and office optional M/F.
