About Us
ADF Health Services provides integrated healthcare services to Australian Defence Force (ADF) personnel across Australia. As an Enrolled Nurse you will be responsible for providing outpatient assessment and health promotion services to patients under the supervision of the Registered Nurse. You will assess the level of care required for patients and set priorities accordingly as well as initiating treatment for minor injuries and illnesses.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- The highest levels of personal integrity and ethical behaviour.
- Current unconditional and unrestricted registration as an Enrolled Nurse (Division 2 General with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- 2 years fulltime post registration nursing experience within the last 5 years (or parttime equivalent) in an acute care primary healthcare or military setting.
- Recent participation in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities in accordance with AHPRA.
- Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009 certification.
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a team to support the delivery of safe efficient and highquality care to patients.
About Stirling
Located approximately 45km South of Perth the Stirling Health Centre is on base at HMAS Stirling on Garden Island. This base has a 4km causeway that connects the island to the mainland of Rockingham and the health centre itself offers physiotherapy dentistry pharmaceutical general medical and outpatient services and provides support to the Submarine and Underwater Medicine Unit. Its standard hours of operation areMondayFriday.
