Director of Consulting & Analytics SubSaharan Africa
Location: Hybrid 23 office days per week)

Job Overview:
Our client is seeking an experienced Director of Consulting & Analytics for a senior leadership role within their SubSaharan Africa consulting team. The ideal candidate will be a proven leader in delivering datadriven consultative solutions with a strong focus on payments banking and cards. Experience in these areas is crucial and nonnegotiable. This role will involve driving growth in the Digital and Commercial practice areas developing strategies for new product offerings managing client relationships and overseeing largescale projects across the region.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead and design datadriven consulting programs focusing on new products strategy digital innovation and commercial services.
- Solve complex strategic challenges and create actionable roadmaps for client program delivery.
- Manage large multimarket projects ensuring collaboration and synergies across teams.
- Work closely with Product Marketing and Client Services teams to ensure seamless delivery of consulting services.
- Drive business development through consultative sales and the successful delivery of projects.
- Mentor junior team members and promote the adoption of global best practices.
- Oversee project budgets resources and timelines to ensure successful outcomes aligned with organizational goals.
- Ensure compliance with internal standards and risk management protocols.
- 12 years of experience in financial services or consulting specifically in payments cards or banking. Experience in these areas is nonnegotiable.
- Strong client management and consulting skills with proven ability to influence senior management.
- Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel; superior project management skills.
- A postgraduate degree is preferred.
- Extensive experience working in a multicultural environment with crossfunctional teams.
- Fluency in English is required; French is a plus.
- Proven ability to demonstrate integrity and a constructive approach to business challenges.
- Skilled in stakeholder influence and leading change management initiatives.
- Strong problemsolving decisionmaking and team management abilities.
- Hybrid position 23 office days per week).
- Occasional travel across SubSaharan Africa and client visits.
