Description
The Systems Engineer will design and develop modular components for advanced government applications. Collaborate on complex SIGINT and multimedia solutions leveraging your developer skill set in Java Node/TypeScript and React. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to troubleshoot design and implement solutions that support critical missions. This role requires a balance of technical engineering principles and strong communication skills to present and document complex ideas.
This position allows for limited telework.
Clearance
A current TopSecret/SCIwith polygraph security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.
Experience
Fourteen 14 years experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope type and complexity is required. Bachelors degree in System Engineering Computer Science Information Systems Engineering Science Engineering Management or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five 5 years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelors degree.

Required skills:
- Seniorlevel Java developer experience
- Experience with Node/TypeScript and junior to midlevel React development
- Proven Linux background
- Experience with designing and developing modular components used in other applications
- Success troubleshooting and solving complex problems
- Strong written and oral communication skills including experience with presentations briefings and technical documentation
- Seniorlevel experience with signal processing of audio/video content
- Knowledge of multimedia file/streaming formats audio/video compression
- Familiarity with SIGINT data flow
- Midlevel Python development skills
- Experience with web traffic analysis and DevOps pipelines (junior to midlevel)
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and services
