ManpowerGroup Greece on behalf of its client a food production and trading company with a leading position in the Greek Market and export activity is looking for the production unit in Ilia a Production Manager
Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee daily operations in manufacturing ensure efficient production processes quality control and timely delivery.
Also to manage the manpower in production optimize resources and implement strategies to meet production goals. Strong leadership and problemsolving skills are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor production plans to ensure optimal performance of facilities and services.
- Ensure compliance with health safety and product quality standards to minimize risks and defects.
- Coordinate SAP system implementation for better monitoring costing and reporting.
- Collaborate with other departments to support company promotions and ensure smooth production processes.
- Work with the Engineering Team to maintain production operations and execute Capex projects.
- Prepare and manage the factory budget to ensure cost efficiency and competitive product pricing.
- Understand customer needs and ensure actions are taken to meet their requirements.
- Promote highperformance culture and effective interdepartmental communication.
Requirements
- University Degree in Chemical Engineering
- Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration or Manufacturing / Supply Chain area will be an asset.
- At least 8 years of working experience in industrial environment in food production
- At least 2 years in a Managerial position
- Excellent knowledge of the English language
Skills:
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and lead small teams.
- Proven track record in driving results innovation and continuous improvement.
- Effective communication skills both oral and written with excellent problemsolving abilities.
- Experience managing multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously even under pressure.
- Highly organized with strong analytical skills and a commitment to excellence.
