Student Production Technician
Location: Moncton NB
Status: Fulltime Temporary
Reports to: Production Supervisor
Reporting to the Production Supervisor the ideal candidate will be a motivated individual who displays strong attention to detail a dedication to learning and an ability to change tasks easily as required in a fast paced work environment. The Student Technician will work closely with the Moncton Production team and will be assigned to work with various departments; including Cultivation PostHarvest Manufacturing Sanitation depending on the staffing needs that day.
This position includes physical demands such as reaching bending walking standing performing repetitive work and lifting to 50 lbs;
Preference will be given to students who arean immediate family member (for example child grandchild niece nephew sibling) of a current Organigram team member as of the time of application and who will continue their employment throughout the summer.
Applicants must be fulltime students enrolled in a Canadian college or university or completing their high school education and enrolled to start their postsecondary education in the fall of 2025. Additionally academic excellence by the student is also a priority with a minimum grade average of 70 or equivalent GPA required in the most recent semester. Preference will be given to the following fields of study; Science programs Business programs IT Engineering Trades including mechanics electricians ICTs HVAC. Confirmation of acceptance / enrollment will be required.
